nlibc is a C library generally conforming to the ANSI X3.159-1989 ("C89") standard.
While most of the implementation is reasonably portable, platform-specific files are presently distributed only for FreeBSD and for Solaris.
NOTE: The library is in the process of being revised and re-targeted, and certain features (for instance, floating point support) do not currently work fully with the ncc compiler.
